Our campers stay at Hotel Tres Puntas, conveniently located at the base of the Valle Nevado. In the mornings, campers simply pick up their skis and boots from the storage lockers, walk out 100 meters and bam! They’re on the mountain ready to go. There are various rooming options but generally speaking, there are rooms with two, three and four beds. Your rooming arrangement will depend on the size of the session.
Everyday meals are eaten as a group at the various restaurants Valle Nevado has to offer. Breakfasts are a full hot buffet with everything you can possibly need to fuel you up for a big day out on the mountain. For dinners we get to choose from two different restaurants, El Mirador del Plomo and Sur, conveniently located in the hotel. The camp favourite is El Mirador del Plomo with its huge antipasto bar, a fish/chicken/beef grilling station, and a huge dessert bar.
Hotel Tres Puntas has access to all the amenities any camper needs to physically train, stay in shape or simply kick back and relax. There is a great heated outdoor pool surrounded by the Andes, a full gym, yoga studio, sauna and sports gym for indoor soccer, basketball, skateboarding and wall climbing.
Like any other resort in the world, ski patrol and first aid is readily available. Valle Nevado also has a doctor’s office with staff onsite 24-7. The Catholic University Clinic has the largest health care program in Chile and provides the resort with 24-7 service. In the case of a serious emergency, Valle Nevado has access to helicopters that can get our campers down to a hospital in Santiago in less than 15 minutes.
